Monrovia Farm is located right here in Westmoreland County. About 3 miles west ‘As the Crow Flies’ from our New front door. Designated a ‘Virginia Century Farm’ by the Commonwealth of Virginia (Monrovia Farm has remained in continuous operation by the Powell Family for over 100 years).The Burger that you are about to enjoy is Grass Fed and Grain Finished Black Angus Beef. Denson’s Grocery and R&B Oyster Bar is very proud to offer this amazing Beef on our Menu. We hope that you enjoy!

  • MONROVIA FARM CHEESEBURGER ‘NORTHERN NECK STYLE’- Why ‘Northern Neck Style’? Just about everybody Rocky knew growing up here in the Historic Northern Neck enjoyed their Cheeseburgers with Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and Mayo. So that is what he properly designated this sandwich. A Monrovia Farm Burger topped with Picante Provolone Cheese , Crispy Green Leaf Lettuce, a thick slice of Ripe Tomato, Grilled Onions and Duke’s Mayo on a Soft Roll.

Enjoy a Monrovia Farm Burger topped with Sharp Cheddar Cheese, our House Made Chili, our Delicious Slaw and Yellow Mustard served up on a Soft Roll.
  • MONROVIA FARM KEY WEST BURGER- A Monrovia Farm Burger topped with American Cheese, A thick slice of Red Onion, Dill Pickle, Crispy Green Leaf Lettuce, A Slice of Ripe Tomato and finished with Heinz 57 on a soft Roll- Make it Real with an order of our Hand Cut French Fried Potatoes and a Cold Craft Draft Beer!


At Denson’s Grocery and R&B Oyster Bar, we take much pride in serving ONLY Fresh, Never Frozen, ‘Wild Caught’ Seafood. Frankly, It’s hard to do. But we are small enough to make it happen. We believe Seafood should be served FRESH and not out of the freezer. Call us a ‘Throwback’ if you must, but we are ok with it!

    1 POUND OF JONAH CRAB CLAWS- Very similar to the Florida Stone Crab. Sweet Meat. Served with Stone Ground Mustard Crème.
  • POINT JUDITH, RHODE ISLAND QUICK FRIED CALAMARI- We do something that is a little different. In keeping with our ‘FRESH and WILD CAUGHT ONLY’ commitment, FRESH Cut Squid Tubes, we give them a coat of House Autry and fry them up until golden. Served with Sweet Chili Sauce
