Stratford Hall Christmastide Dinner 2024

DAY 2, and our last public event for 2024. Historic Stratford Hall Dining Room is the site for our Christmastide Dinner (Reservations are closed). A huge Thank You to the Stratford Hall team for a beautiful table setting and decorations! And another huge Thank you to the Denson team for getting out the orders beautiful, hot, and on time. It was very streamlined.


Here are some pics from last evening. We started with soups. Bison Chili topped with Creme Fraiche, Tillamook Extra Sharp Cheddar, and Chopped Green Onions, or New England Style Clam Chowder with freshly shucked sea clams, using the Cliff House Recipe. A Caesar Salad...Chopped Crispy Romaine, House Made Croutons, Imported Parmesan, tossed with House Made Caesar Dressing, and Anchovy Fillets. Crispy Greenswell Greens with Toasted Pecans, Honey Crisp Apple, Bleu Cheese, and Apple Cider Vinaigrette. The 'Mains are Grilled Porterhouse Cut Veal Chops over Garlic Yukon Gold Mash, finished with Veal Demi-Glace and a side of seasoned baby peas and carrots. or....


Delicious, Flaky, and Mild Chilean Sea Bass, Baked and plated over slow cooked stone ground grits with roasted red peppers topped with Lemon Beurre Blanc and a side of a medley of seasonal veggies. Dessert...Chocolate Chip Brownie topped with Peppermint Ice Cream with a drizzle of melted Candy Cane Bark or Gingerbrad Bread Pudding with warm Creme Anglaise.



A BIG 'Thank You' to our friends at United Shellfish Company, Inc. of Grasonville, MD, and Fell's Point Meats of Baltimore for providing us with some incredible 'Center of the Plate' product that was the highlight of our evening during Historic Stratford Hall's Annual Chistmastide dinner this weekend. And a very special thanks to our sales representative, Pat Redmond, for his focus on detail and follow-up, taking the extra step to make sure everything is just right!


Our Main Courses during this event was Baked Chilean Sea Bass over slow cooked South Carolina Grits infused with roasted Red Peppers, finished with Lemon Beurre Blanc, or.... Grilled Porterhouse Cut Veal Chop over Garlic Yukon Gold Mash with Veal Demi Glace. Denson's has trusted our friends at United Shellfish for many years, and they never disappoint.
